New Delhi: MLC K. Kavitha, who has been under judicial custody in Tihar Jail due to her involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam, has reportedly lost 10 kg over the past four months. This Important weight loss was confirmed during a medical examination at AIIMS, conducted following court orders. Her husband was present during the medical tests, and after completion, Kavitha was returned to Tihar Jail.
Kavitha, who is slow down in the women’s section of Tihar Jail, has been granted certain amenities by the court. These include home-cooked food, a mattress, and Letter paper items to ensure her well-being during her incarceration.
Her judicial custody, initially set to end on May 14, 2024, has been extended further due to ongoing investigations. Family members, including prominent political figures, are expected to visit her in Delhi soon.
