The concept of multiverse is not introduced by western scientists like (Hugh Everett III, Alan Guth and Andrei Linde etc).multiverse concept is introduced in Puranas and ancient Bharat scripts.
There few examples:
Brahmāṇḍa (Cosmic Egg) and Caturdaśa Bhuvanas:
In Hindu cosmology, the concept of Brahmāṇḍa refers to the cosmic egg or the cosmic sphere that contains the entire universe. The term “Brahmāṇḍa” is derived from two Sanskrit words: “Brahma,” referring to the creator, and “āṇḍa,” meaning egg. This concept is often used to represent the origin and structure of the cosmos.
According to cosmology, the creation and dissolution of the universe follow a cyclical pattern. The universe is said to be created by Lord Brahma from the cosmic egg, and it eventually undergoes destruction and dissolution. This cycle is known as the “kalpa,” and it repeats over immense periods of time.
The Caturdaśa Bhuvanas, on the other hand, refers to the fourteen worlds or realms that make up the cosmic structure within Brahmāṇḍa. These fourteen realms are often grouped into different planes of existence and are part of the larger cosmological framework. The term “Caturdaśa” means fourteen in Sanskrit.
The fourteen Bhuvanas typically include:
Bhūḥ (Earth)
Bhuvaḥ (Atmosphere)
Svaḥ (Heaven)
Mahar (Region of Saints)
Jana (Region of Saints)
Tapas (Region of Saints)
Satya (Region of Saints)
Brahma (Abode of Lord Brahma)
Bṛhat (The Great)
Loka (The World)
Svar (Heaven)
Mahar (Heaven)
Jana (Heaven)
Tapas (Heaven)
These realms are considered to be hierarchical, with Earth being the lowest and various heavenly realms and divine abodes situated above it. The concept of Caturdaśa Bhuvanas helps explain the diversity of existence within the cosmic order, encompassing both the material and spiritual dimensions.
Story of Brahma and Krishna
Lord Brahma, the creator deity, expresses concern about the influence of the young Krishna on Earth. Seeking to assess Krishna’s divine nature, Brahma employs his mystical abilities to temporarily spirit away the calves and cowherd friends of Krishna. Brahma don’t know that Krishna, displaying his cleverness, creates exact duplicates of each missing calf and friend. For an entire year, the original ones remain concealed in Brahma’s mystical realm. At the culmination of this period, Krishna reveals his universal form, showcasing the entire cosmos. Witnessing this extraordinary manifestation, Brahma comprehends his error and acknowledges Krishna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Filled with remorse, Brahma offers sincere prayers seeking forgiveness. In a display of mercy, Krishna reunites the stolen calves and friends with their duplicates. This narrative underscores the remarkable nature of the Supreme Divine of Lord Krishna.
