How to Do Garuda Mudra
Sit comfortably with an open posture either in the seated cross legged position or sitting in a chair with your feet lying flat on the ground. Your spine should be straight and your shoulders relaxed.
Hold your arms out in front of you, palms toward you.
Interlock your thumbs, overlapping one over the other. Let the right hand thumb lie over the left-hand thumb.
Stretch out your fingers like wings. Pretend your hands are turning into the wings of an eagle. The more loose your fingers the better.
Press your hands against your lower abdomen or heart; do whatever you like. You can keep this mudra for minutes.
