What is ksepana mudra

Ksepana Mudra is an ancient yogic hand gesture employed for releasing negativity, stress, and emotional blockages. It is a powerful tool to help improve your mental and emotional state, leaving you lighter and at peace with yourself.

How to Do Ksepana Mudra

Get Into a Comfortable Seated Position
Sit comfortably cross-legged, either on a chair or on the floor. Use a cushion for lower back support, if needed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax.

Bring Your Hands Together
Now, bring your palms together in front of your chest as if you are about to pray. The palms should touch each other, and your fingers should point upward.

Point Your Hands Downward
Hold your interlocked hands, with the extended index fingers pointing down toward the ground, a little away from your body. This represents letting go of negative energy.

Deep Breathing
As you do this position, take deep breaths. Imagine all the negative energy, stress, and all that is unwanted flowing from the tips of your index fingers into the Earth.

Hold for 5 to 15 Minutes
Stay in this mudra for anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes. If you are feeling extra stressed or drained, you can even hold it longer. The idea is to release negativity and create space for fresh, positive energy.

End with Gratitude
Once you are done, release your hands gently, place them on your knees, and take a moment to give thanks. This may be for yourself, for the Earth, or simply because you have let go of negativity.
