Heavy Rains and Flooding in Hyderabad: An Unprecedented Downpour

Hyderabad experienced extraordinary rainfall yesterday, leading to widespread flooding and disruption across the city. Vailpur in Nizamabad district recorded an unprecedented 464 mm of rain in six hours, marking the heaviest rainfall in Telangana’s history. Authorities, including State Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy and District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, have toured the affected areas.
