Water Release from Jurala Due to Heavy Inflows from Karnataka
The Jurala project in Telangana has lifted its gates to release 34,818 cusecs of water downstream due to significant inflows from Karnataka’s Almatti and Narayanapur reservoirs. This proactive measure ensures efficient water management and hydroelectric power generation, with the released water making its way towards the Srisailam reservoir.
