Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has recently released a new program to assist young people preparing for Civil Services examinations. The program has been named Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam and is visualized to extend financial support and encouragement ones tirelessly working to clear the tough examination.
Financial Assistance to the Candidates
For the purpose, the Chief Minister gave cheques of Rs 1 lakh to 135 successful candidates who cleared the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam. Money was for the purpose of their preparation for the ensuing further stages of the examination. Among these candidates, those who reached the interview stage will now be given another cash award of Rs 1 lakh. This financial aid is not just about the money provided but a belief deep within these aspirants, in which their government will go down with them in their pursuit of success.
Skills Matter, Not Just Certificates
The Chief Minister brought out one of the shamming aspects in the education system of today: it is generally entangled in issuing certificates rather than actual, employable skills. To address this problem, the government is erecting the Young India Skills University. The new university will provide training in a manner that will be suitable for what industries require; therefore, students through this will acquire the expected skills that are supposed to get them good jobs. This university will work by focusing on the real-world skills required, making the young people have less unemployment and lower the level of the economy sinking.
Developing Sport and Education
He also announced another new university, the Young India Sports University, which separately aims at training athletes to compete at world championships and the Olympics. The CM hopes that inspired by his visit to a sports university in South Korea, this new installation helps the athletes of Telangana win many medals and bring pride to the state.
Trying to Improve Education Facilities in Telangana The government is taking proper action to develop integrated residential schools and hostels in Telangana. It can be provided for quality teaching and it may even provide living standards equally for each category of background, i.e. students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Communities and minorities, in an equal manner.
