The trick is derived from NIKHILAM SUTRA of Vedic Math.

Multiplication it will be hard to multiply complex problems and it is a time-taking process. For these complex problems, in our Vedas we have a beautiful trick. This will formula will solve your complex formulas

The formula is  X*X=X-(Z-X)/(Z-X)(Z-X)

Here Z is base the value of Z = (10, 100, 1000, …etc or 10ⁿ) for better understanding, refer all examples.

Example1: 11*11=11-(10-11)/(10-11)(10-11)

=11-(-1)/(-1)(-1)

=11+1/1

=12/1

=121.

Example2: 91*91=91-(100-91)/(100-91)(100-91)

=91-9/-9*-9

=82/81=8281.
